Lee-Ann Adendorff - CPD study programme, Architect and Design Manager
Lee-Ann has worked as a Design Manager, Project Architect and Team Leader on Residential, Retail, Leisure and Mixed-use projects for over 20 years. Before moving across to Construction Design Management, Lee-Ann worked as a qualified Architect in the UK, Ireland, Dubai and South Africa and has also completed developments in Oman and Hungary.
She is now a consultant design manager who has worked with some of the leading main contractors and developers in the UK.
Lee-Ann stays up to date with the fast paced design-build sector, but has also recently branched into training and education. Qualified as a Trainer and a university tutor, Lee-Ann is currently compiling a CPD Certified Course for Design Management in the UK Construction Industry. Lee-Ann also offers in-house training, workshops and one-to-one mentoring.
Shane Arden Smith - Researcher and Construction manager
Shane is a qualified construction manager with experience delivering commercial fitouts and new-builds, and other mixed-use developments.
Whilst working in the field, he assists the education team at the DMC with research and development of the Continued Professional Development online study programme with research, technical fact-checking, and content writing of the modules.
He also assists the supply chain clients with product research and testing.
Johan Nieuwenhuys - BIMM and engineering
Johan has worked in the mainstream construction industry for more than 20 years as Senior Architectural Technologist, Design Manager and Project Manager.
He is proficient in project coordination, technical troubleshooting, client liaison, working drawings, NBS specification and multidisciplinary project coordination.
He founded BIMcreation in 2014 to help industry bridge the gap between CAD and BIM whilst offering a range of supporting services.
Qualifications including NHD Architectural Technology, Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and BSc (Hons) Built Environment (1st) majoring in construction management. Accreditation with the CIAT.
